The Pakistan Cricket Board is yet to issue NOCs to Haris Rauf, Zaman Khan, and Usama Mir for the Australian Big Bash which starts a few days later on December 7.

Pakistan Cricket Board:

The Pakistan Cricket Board officials have stated that no decision has been made yet regarding Haris, the fast bowler who refused to visit Australia. The matter is currently under consideration. Meanwhile, a foreign website has reported that Haris is facing difficulties and might be demoted to a lower central contract category. Moreover, he may also be deprived of the NOC for the Big Bash League.

 PCB is reportedly unhappy with the behavior of Haris Rauf:

Some officials in the Pakistan Cricket Board are reportedly unhappy with the behavior of Haris Rauf, who missed the Test against Australia due to workload and fitness issues. They are also disappointed with the Lahore Qalandars coach Aqib Javed’s defense of Haris. It’s worth noting that Haris Rauf, along with Usama Mir, will not be playing in the upcoming series against Melbourne Stars, while Zaman Khan is contracted with Sydney Thunders.

Haris Rauf wants to focus:

The Category B central contract given to Haris Rauf needs to be reviewed as he aims to focus solely on limited-overs cricket. The contract includes a monthly payment of over Rs 40 lakh, as well as additional match fees, bonuses, and ICC revenue, along with shares from the Pakistan Cricket Board.

Pakistan Cricket Board Management Committee Chairman Zaka Ashraf visited the ongoing training camp in Rawalpindi Stadium in connection with the preparations for the national team’s visit to Australia.

On this occasion, Zaka Ashraf met Shan Masood, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Mohammad Hafeez, Wahab Riaz, and other players.

He encouraged the players and expressed good wishes for the tour of Australia with the national team.
Zaka Ashraf has also expressed full confidence in the new team management.
